WINKY_WRIGHT: what up what up what up!

Angel_Salter: Winky why are u fighting Soliman and u are already in a mandatory position?

WINKY_WRIGHT: I'm fighting Sam Soliman on December 10 at Mohegan Sun.

WINKY_WRIGHT: We ain't fighting for the vacant title, but that's all good, I'm just happy to be fighting on HBO.

RealPuya: Winky, who you fighting next after that he bum Sam on the december?

WINKY_WRIGHT: I seen this dude on tape and he ain't no bum. I'm here in Tahoe training real, real hard for this fight and I'm taking dude real seriously.

WINKY_WRIGHT: You know I'll be looking at the winner of Jermain and Bernard real close.

WINKY_WRIGHT: Hopefully they want to make the fight, cause I think that's the fight boxing fans want.

tysonfan4eva: winky is ur recent fight with trindad u looked like u was boxing a bit cautious , and ive noticed u haven't ko anyone recently?

WINKY_WRIGHT: I ain't come close to losing to no one either.

tysonfan4eva: any reasons why

WINKY_WRIGHT: I did what I had to do with Tito and everyone else they put me in there. A KO would be nice, but I'm just going to go in there and do what I do.

nardfan: Winky, when will you start camp and how much film have you watched on Soliman? How can I get a autographed pic or something?Good Luck, dont take anyone lightly and you cant be beat!

WINKY_WRIGHT: I've been in camp homey. I watched a couple of fights on the dude, I leave that to Dan and them and then we do what we need to do in camp to make sure it's all good when I get in the ring.

WINKY_WRIGHT: We're going to have a site for Winky Promotions coming soon, and I think we going to be doing autograph pictures and gloves on it.

royjonesjrp4pno1: Winky, how come your next fight aint in Tampa after then numbers Roy Jones and Jeff Lacy done there and what will your gameplan be for the Soliman fight?

WINKY_WRIGHT: I would love to fight in Florida, but the timing wasn't right for this one. We're going to fill the Mohegan Sun up and I'm going to put on another great performance against a tough number one contender.

WINKY_WRIGHT: Then after that we're going to see if Jermain or Bernard step up to the plate.

Byrdlover: hey winky, what were your kids dressed up as for halloween?

WINKY_WRIGHT: lol

WINKY_WRIGHT: I ain't even 100% sure you going to make me call up my wife now and shit

Titlebelt: Winky, Which sparring partners are helping you prepare for Soliman's style?

WINKY_WRIGHT: We got a bunch of guys that fight a lot like him. I don't know all of their names but we putting in some good work. You know Jeff is over here with me and we're always helping each other.

ft_myers_pal: even tho tito never hit you who was the bigger puncher him or harry simon and i rep ft myers pal gym about hour half south of you thx champ

WINKY_WRIGHT: It's tough to say because Trinidad ain't really hit me like you said. I don't know who the hardest puncher is because none of these guys really hurt me.

WINKY_WRIGHT: Homey, I hope I don't ever meet the hardest puncher I've faced because that'll mean I'm getting hit for not doing what I'm supposed to.

Reg_One: Wink, what up dog? Wink since you retired Trinidad what personal goals do you have left that you want to achieve besides the big paydays..what is going to do it for you enough to say to yourself.....I'm done there's nothing else to prove"?"

WINKY_WRIGHT: I want the winner of Jermain and Bernard and Oscar De La Hoya. After I take care of that business, I'm probably going to retire.

salvador: Has Hopkins ever made a sincere attempt to get you in the ring? And why not fight Mayweather if you can get a fat paycheck for fighting a much smaller guy?

WINKY_WRIGHT: There's been talks about a fight with Bernard but it ain't get past the talks on Boxingtalk

WINKY_WRIGHT: I'd fight Floyd, he's a good little fighter, but he's demanding too much

WINKY_WRIGHT: He wasn't even on my radar and then he calls me out and thinks he's going to be able to make all the demands

WINKY_WRIGHT: But it ain't going down like that, so little Floyd could keep talking about the fights people want to see. I'm going to be out there trying to make them.

boxingguy: Hey Champ. Let me say first that I have you #2 P4P. With that being said, how do you think you would have fared against a prime Hagler at middleweight? Good luck against Soliman.

WINKY_WRIGHT: Marvin Hagler is one of the best fighters of all time, but he's from another era so it's tough to say how I'd do. If he was around today I'd be trying to fight him.

sTOTHEr: Hey winky, where did you learn and master your defensive style of fighting. i see very little flaws. And you'll be fighting jermain next by the way.

WINKY_WRIGHT: Hard work, hard work, hard work homey. If you notice any flaws get at your boy so we can tighten up right up.

WINKY_WRIGHT: Fighting Jermain would be cool, I just hope the winner of that fight steps up to the plate.

Refugee: sup Winky! fan from PR here, Soliman is ranked #5 by WBC just under Sturm,Who has he fought? and how bout a fight against Sturm?

WINKY_WRIGHT: Sturm ain't going nowhere so if I can't get the big fights I'm looking for and he keeps winning, I ain't running from no one.

bigjuicyhog: winky, what was your greatest moment in boxing, and how far do you plan up to go up in weight to win titles?

WINKY_WRIGHT: I would have to say my last three fights have been my greatest moments. It's tough to pick just one. To be real with you, I hope that my best moments in boxing haven't happened yet.

irishbrawler: do you think sturms style would give you big problems winky? Styles make fights and I think that would be a great fight

WINKY_WRIGHT: Sturm is a good solid fighter. I don't know much about him and I only saw him against Oscar. It would be a good fight, but I don't see nothing special in him that has me worried. I think this dude I'm fighting on December 10 would beat Sturm.

boxingfag2005: winky can you make a case for yourself being p4p #1 and if you believe you are not #1 who would you list?

WINKY_WRIGHT: I don't really get into that pound for pound stuff, I just make sure I keep on winning because then they ain't going have no choice recognize who the best is.

thehype: Boxingtalk would like to thank Winky Wright for taking time out to chat with us tonight
