Former IBF welterweight champion Jan Zaveck (32-2, 18 KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over Bethuel Tyson Ushona (25-2-1, 8 KOs) on Saturday night at the Tabor Arena in Maribor, Slovenia. Scores were 117-109, 117-109, 119-110. Zaveck said afterward that the victory is the first step towards re-capturing the world championship he lost to Andre Berto last September
