Bute destroys Mendy

IBF super middleweight champion Lucian Bute (29-0, 24 KOs) scored a spectacular fourth round KO over previously unbeaten mandatory challenger Jean-Paul Mendy (29-1-1, 16 KOs) on Saturday night at the Romexpo in Bucharest, Romania. An crushing overhand left put Mendy down and out face first. Time was 2:48.
