The two-time world title challenger Lujan brutalized Melligen, dropping him in rounds six, seven and eight. Lujan finished Melligen with a fourth knockdown in round nine. Time was :45.
Unbeaten lightweight Mickey Bey (17-0-1, 8 KOs) scored a nice for4th round KO over Alejandro Rodriguez (12-4, 6 KOs). A big right hand sent Rodriguez to the deck. He struggled to his feet, but then collapsed again. Time was 2:10.
