A quarter of a pound is no sweat for Bernard Hopkins as he weighed in four ounces over the 175 pound weight limit during his first attempt on the scale at today's final weigh in. He returned shortly there after and made weight. In the end, both Hopkins and his opponent Jean Pascal weighed in at 174 pounds 14 ounces.
The HBO televised light heavyweight co-feature, with former world champions Chad Dawson and Adrian Diaconu, also had no problems. Dawson was 173-pounds, while Diaconu was 174.4.
