Golovkin vs N’Dam Has Been Ordered By The WBA

WBA interim middleweight champ Hassan N´Dam has received a letter from the WBA where he is instructed to take on WBA regular ruler Gennady Golovkin next.

However, Golovkin is still defend his portion of the title June 17 in Panama City against Kassim Ouma.

N´Dam is claiming to be a free agent by July 1 - so this is a not a unification that will happen until the fall.

Meanwhile, WBA super champ Felix Sturm defends his part of the title June 25 in Cologne against Matthew Macklin - the first really dangerous challenger he´s in against since barely getting by Khoren Gevor in July of 2009.

Golovkin´s promotional dispute with Universum remain unsolved.

Ouma Hospitalized After TKO Beating From Golovkin

According to Daily Monitor, former junior middleweight champion Kassim Ouma spent Saturday at Punta Pacifica hospital in Panama City after he was stopped by WBA middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin in the tenth round on Friday. Ouma, 32, started well but ran out of steam and began to take a bad beating in the late rounds. The referee stopped the contest as Ouma was on the verge of being knocked out. The ringside physician Jeff Davidson was concerned with the high nuber of punches that Ouma took to the head and ordered a neurological examination.
