Legendary boxing promoter Don King was in Mexico City Wednesday to join municipal authorities of Texcoco, Estado de Mexico, WBC President Jose Sulaiman and other key members of the WBC to inaugurate the new Don King Coliseum at the Feria Internacional del Caballo. Three world championship fights are already scheduled for the arena to be presented by Dr. Fausto Daniel Garcia’s “Boxing Gala” Promotions. King and Sulaiman have maintained a close relationship for many years that has led to several DKP events in Mexico.
