In a clash of unbeaten light heavyweights, WBC #8 rated Ismayl Sillakh (15-0, 12 KOs) 2004 Cuban Olympian Yordanis Despaigne (8-1, 4 KOs) at the Jostens Center in Orlando, Florida. NABF titleholder Sillakh dropped Despaigne with a right hand at the end of round two and continued to control the action for the rest of the fight, winning 98-91, 98-91, 99-90.
In a welterweight clash, “Sugar” Ray Narh (25-1, 21 KOs) pounded out a ten round unanimous decision over 40-year-old former two-time featherweight champion Freddie Norwood (41-4-1, 23 KOs). Scores were 99-89, 100-88, 100-88. Norwood was deducted two points for an intentional punch behind the head in round nine.
