Weights are on for the Friday’s big show, arranged by Union Boxing Promotion, which is set to go at “Cosmos” city circus in Donetsk, Ukraine. Tonight, a short presser and a scale watch for five title fights were arranged at Donbas Plaza hotel in the very centre of the city.

“We are very proud to be back to our fans for the first time in 2011”, said Union’s chief Yuri Ruban. “We want to congratulate everybody on the New Year and Christmas and wish all the best to you and your families. This time we shall have a huge promotion under the WBA aegis which will feature a handful of very interesting title collisions. We decided to walk the WBA’s way as our only champion Vyacheslav Senchenko is the WBA stalwart. But he is aging slowly, and tomorrow we shall case more of fresh blood, our proud future. So come at hand and watch a great show for the good of the sport”.
