Lucian Bute will defend his IBF super-middleweight title against Ireland’s Brian Magee in March.
InterBox confirmed the fight at a news conference Monday.
Bute (27-0, 22 knockouts) will turn 31 a few weeks before the March 19 fight at the Bell Centre. It will be his seventh title defense.
Bute is from Romania but moved to Montreal in 2003.
The 35-year-old Magee (34-3-1, 24 KOs) is unbeaten in his last six fights.
