Melindo outpoints Tamara

Unbeaten flyweight Milan Melindo (23-0, 7 KOs) handed former world champion Carlos “El Olimpico” Tamara (21-6, 15 KOs) his second straight loss on Saturday night at the Waterfront Hotel and Casino in Cebu City, Philippines. Scores were 98-92, 98-92 and 97-93.

In his first bout as a welterweight, Randy Suico (30-6-1, 25 KOs) won an eight-round majority decision over Arnel Tinampay (12-12-1, 4 KOs) by scores of 78-74, 77-75 and 76-76. Suico has held OPBF belts at 130, 135 and 140lbs.

Former IBF minimumweight champion Florante Condes (25-5-1, 15 KOs) scored a seventh round TKO Kenichi Horikawa (20-9-1, 4 KOs).

OPBF flyweight titleholder Rocky Fuentes (28-6-2, 18 KOs) knocked out Inthanon Sithchamuang (9-4, 3 KOs) in round two.
