WBO super middleweight champion Robert Stieglitz (39-2, 23 KOs) scored a clear twelve round unanimous decision over Enrique Ornelas (30-7, 20 KOs) on Saturday night at the Freiberger Arena in Dresden, Germany. Stieglitz brought the fight to Ornelas early, but Ornelas got untracked as the bout progressed. In round seven, Ornelas had his best round as he punished the champion, who was starting to get busted up. However, Stieglitz adjusted in round eight and was completely back in control by round nine. The fighters went toe-to-toe in an exciting twelfth round. Scores were 117-111 on all cards.
