WBA heavyweight champion David Haye and challenger Audley Harrison faced off at the final press conference today in advance of Saturday’s showdown in Manchester, England.
“All of England has had enough of Harrison. For ten years he has bored the sports fans to death, “said Haye. “I will do everyone a favor when I shut him up once and for all. I will destroy him. This will be a public execution.”
Harrison stated, “David Haye is not going to break my spirit. He’s not going to knock me out. He couldn’t take me out when we sparred together years back and I’ve sparred with David too many times to know that…Everyone knows that Haye has a glass chin. On Saturday there will be a crushing defeat for him.”
