In his first bout since losing his bid for the world cruiserweight championship against Marco Huck, Brian “The Beast” Minto stopped late replacement Pierre Karam via TKO after Karam did not answer the bell for round number three. With this victory, Minto becomes the WBC Continental Americas Cruiserweight champion.

At the Weser-Ems-Halle in Oldenburg, Niedersachsen, Germany, hometown favorite Marco Huck (29-1, 22KOs) retained his WBO cruiserweight title with a punishing nine-round beating of Brian Minto (34-4, 21KOs).
