Universum Box-Promotion has won an EBU purse bid in Rome to stage a European heavyweight championship clash between Alexander Dimitrenko (30-1, 20 KOs) and Albert Sosnowski (46-3-1, 28 KOs). Universum will announce the date and location of the fight shortly. Sosnowski gave up the title in May to challenge WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko. Dimitrenko won the vacant belt in July.
