Bulgarian heavyweight star Kubrat Pulev, 8-0, is being moved fast by Sauerland Event and October 30 in Rostock on the undercard to Sylvester vs Oral, he fights none other than Dominick Guinn. Guinn has much more experience but Pulev is one to watch. He´s been with the Sauerland team since his amateur days and is ready for bigger things already after eight pro fights.

Russian heavy Alexsander Povetkin will indeed fight both October 16 in Russia and October 30 in Germany. Povetkin is still trained by Teddy Atlas and is now trying to get back in the picture after losing his position under what we might call confusing circumstances.

WBO super middleweight champ Robert Stieglitz defends the title November 20 in Dresden on a show promoted by SES and their new partner Sportfive. Opponent is to be announced.

Big Alexander Ustinov takes on German Oezcan Cetinkaya on the undercard to Klitschko vs Briggs on Saturday in Hamburg. Cetinkaya is (or was) also booked for a show in Amsterdam October 18 but it seems very unlikely he will able to go through with that after Ustinov is finished with him. K2 Ukraine is also representing jr middleweight Zauerbek Baysangurov who faces Eugenio Monteiro, a veteran from Portugal now based in the UK.

Konstantin Airich and Yakup Saglam clash for the PABA heavyweight title November 12 in Stralsund. The title is almost vacant with injured Russian Denis Bakhtov declared "champion in recess". Arena Box Promotion promotes and also has IBF I/C middleweight champ Benjamin Simon defending the title against fellow German Marco Schulze.

Belarus hasbeen hit with a boxing boom of the likes too often seen in some countries with a big help from some of the editors at boxrec. There´s been 20 shows this year in Belarus, most of them at the Olympic Sports Stadium in Minsk where there´s huge weekly shows with up to 15 fights on them.

Well, that´s good news isn´t it? But take a closer look at what goes on and we have another black eye for boxing.

For instance, middleweight Dzimitry Lubachkin, who´s now 18-0 in a career that began last year. Opponents total according to boxrec 1-6-1 going into their performances against Lubachkin. 13 of these opponents made their "pro debut" against Dzimitry. One Raviz Dadashzade turned pro Sep 22 and week later he fights for the national title and the list goes on and on. It´s also known that the supervisor of all these shows, has at least once been suspended as a boxrec editor due to the many "question marks" regarding the results that he entered.
