WBA cruiserweight champion Guillermo Jones (37-3, 29KOs) returned last weekend in Panama for his first fight in two years. He stunned the odds by stopping a very durable Valery Brudov in eleven rounds at the Arena Robert Duran. Jones wants the next move of his career to come against WBA heavyweight champion David Haye (24-1, 22KOs) of England.

Jones tells Richardo Mendez that he plans to sit back and watch the upcoming fight between Haye and challenger Audley Harrison. If Haye wins, Jones will have his promoter Don King speak with Haye's people about the fight. "I want David Haye" was repeared by Jones as the opponent he would like next. Many cruiserweight champions, including Haye, have moved to heavyweight in the last two years.

"Great things are going to come to me. Right now our plan is to face David Haye for the world heavyweight title, but you have to negotiate," said Jones
