Hamburg, Germany - They laughed, played and acted like a pair of drinking buddies. Nobody would guess that Vitali Klitschko and Shannon Briggs have vowed to knock each other out on October 16 in Hamburg, Germany. Klitschko and Briggs took a break during their press tour in Hamburg, and did a little fishing by the water. Klitschko makes the fourth defense of his WBC heavyweight title since returning to the sport in 2008.

Shannon Briggs pledged Wednesday to return to the ring after surgery to repair a torn tendon in his left arm, despite a lopsided loss to Vitali Klitschko over the weekend that left him hospitalized. Briggs said that apart from the arm injury, he felt fine after absorbing heavy punishment on Saturday night. He’s been in the hospital ever since and is scheduled for surgery on Friday
