Sturm sharp in sparring

WBA middleweight champion Felix Sturm today sparred ten rounds against three different sparring partners (tough super middleweight Lolenga Mock is pictured above) in his gym in Cologne, Germany,. The 31-years old Sturm is in his final week of sparring for his September 4 clash against hard-hitting challenger Giovanni Lorenzo in the Lanxess Arena in Cologne. Sturm looked sharp and quick in today’s session. “I’m in great shape”, he said. “My camp went great and I’m ready to defend my title next week. My fans are in for a real treat.” Sturm’s first bout in 14 months is only 11 days away.
