According to reports in the Russian press, heavyweights Alexander Dimitrenko (29-1, 19KOs) and Denis Bakhtov (33-5, 22KOs) will fight on July 30 in Yekaterinburg for the vacant EBU title, previously vacated by champion Audley Harrison.

Dimitrenko has been inactive since the decision loss to Eddie Chambers in July 2009. A few different opportunities fell through for him. Bakhtov has been far more active in that time period, knocking out Sherzod Mamajanov, Edgars Kalnars and Steffen Kretschmann.
