Ward dominates Green

WBA super middleweight champion Andre Ward (22-0, 13 KOs) scored a one-sided twelve round unanimous decision over Allan Green (29-2, 20 KOs) in the final Group Stage 2 matchup of SHOWTIME’s groundbreaking “Super Six” tournament on Saturday night at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California. Ward made a statement in this fight, outpunching, outboxing and generally roughing up the supposedly stronger Green on the inside throughout the match. Scores were 120-108 on all cards.

With the victory, Ward has already clinched a spot in the Super Six semis prior to his Group Stage 3 bout vs. Andre Dirrell. Green still has a chance to advance in Group Stage 3 against Mikkel Kessler.
