Ortiz took one-sided UD over Campbell

In an important collision of super lightweight contenders, WBA #2/WBO #4/IBF #6 Victor Ortiz (27-2-1, 21 KOs) took a one-sided ten round unanimous decision over 38-year-old former lightweight world champion and current WBO #2/WBA #4/IBF #11 Nate Campbell (33-6-1, 25 KOs). Ortiz was credited with a questionable knockdown in round one, but he didn’t need the extra help as he pounded out a clear ten round unanimous decision. Scores were 100-89, 100-89, 99-90.

Unbeaten middleweight destroyer Daniel Jacobs (20-0, 17 KOs) did it again. Jacobs blew away Juan Astorga (14-5-1, 9 KOs), putting him on the deck twice in the first round and twice more in the second round on body shots. The bout was stopped at 1:51 of the second round.
