Khan stops Malignaggi in 11

WBA super lightweight champion Amir Khan (23-1, 17 KOs) punished former IBF champion and currently WBA #3 rated Paulie Malignaggi (27-4, 5 KOs) for eleven rounds on Saturday night in The Theater at the famous Madison Square Garden in New York City. Khan won every round in a one-sided beating, but although outgunned, the game Malignaggi battled on until referee Steve Smoger made a mercy stoppage in the eleventh. Time was 1:25.
