Universum Box-Promotion won today’s purse bid in Budapest to promote the WBO cruiserweight eliminator between WBO #2 rated Universum boxer Alexander Alekseev against #1 Denis Lebedev to become the mandatory challenger for current champion Marco Huck. “We’ll know the place and time of the fight in the next few days,” said Universum VP Dietmar Poszwa. “We’re delighted that this high quality fight will take place in Germany on a “Universum Champions Night.” Alexander can again box for a title. His desired opponent is and will remain Marco Huck. Now it’s up to him to win this eliminator and for Marco to remain champion and want to face his mandatory challenger.”
