Former WBO heavyweight champion Shannon Briggs (49-5-1, 43 KOs) annihilated Rafael Pedro (20-9-1, 14 KOs) in just 28 seconds on Tuesday night at the Seminole Hard Rock Resort in Hollywood, Florida. It was a right hand by Briggs that finished Pedro, giving Briggs his 28th first round KO.
