Former two-time light welterweight world champion Randall Bailey (41-7, 36 KOs), now ranked IBF #6, made a devastating comeback to the welterweight division with a sensational first-round knockout of established Belgian contender Jackson Osei Bonsu (31-4, 24 KOs) in an IBF 147lb eliminator on Friday night at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp, Belgium. IBF #7 and WBC #9 Bonsu was down twice before referee Tony Weeks halted the action, the last time after a huge left hand to the head, which ended Sugar Bonsu’s sweet dreams of getting his shot at the world title. Bailey earned the IBF’s #2 rating and a possible shot at champion Jan Zaveck.

Bailey knocks out Figueroa!

In an IBF junior welterweight eliminator, two-time former world champion Randell Bailey (39-6, 34 KOs) scored a spectacular fourth round knockout over Frankie Figueroa (20-3, 13 KOs) on a free card presented live by Prize Fight Boxing and DiBella Entertainment outdoors in Handy Park on the famous Beale Street in downtown Memphis, Tennessee.
