Christian Cherchi of OPI 2000 and Richard Poxon of Hatton Promotions announced today that the vacant European welterweight title will be contested between Gianluca Branco (43-2-1, 22 KOs) and Matthew Hatton (38-4-2, 15 KOS). The fight will take place on March 26 in Goresbrook Leisure Centre in Dagenham, England. The winner will face Yuri Nuzhnenko. Hatton Promotions will promote the fight with SKY SPORTS televised live in UK and DAHLIA TV in Italy.
