Kubrat Pulev Stays Busy; Pianeta on Huck-Richards, More

Bulgarian heavyweight Kubrat Pulev, 5-0, already has some good wins on his record such as the knockout over veteran Matt Skelton last time out. However, in order to get rated by the EBU you need a minimum of eight fights. Pulev will thus fight in Liege, Belgium, next weekend, in Berlin March 13 and again in April.

EU heavyweight champ Francesco Pianeta is according to the EBU, set to the defend the title March 13 in Berlin on the undercard to Huck vs Richards. Opponent is to be announced.

Juho Tolppola and Emanule De Prophetis clash for the vacant EU jr welterweight title March 19 in Helsinki on a P 3 Boxing promotion. There are a lot of rumors around P 3 Boxing and their future plans which may include a comeback of former EBU middleweight champ Amin Asikainen at super middleweight. P 3, headed by Pekka Maeki, also collaborates with Sauerland Event on heavyweight Robert Helenius. An official announcement is expected this week.

Sergio Palomo vs Innocent Anyanwu for the EBA jr lightweight title will now go ahead March 28 in the Netherlands. It´s the second postponement of the fight that was originally set for February.

Jap Promotions and their Spanish partners Tundra vs Barcelo have cruiserweight Alexander Kotlobay on top of their promotion in St Petersburg February 27. Kotlobay take on Argentinian Mauro Ordiales. In the co-feature middleweights Gennadyi Martirosyan and Aziz Daari clash for the WBO European title.
