BoxingScene.com was advised that former heavyweight champion Oliver McCall was once again arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Not the first time that Mr. McCall has been in trouble with the law, or arrested for drug possession.

The arrest took place on Saturday in Florida. McCall was scheduled to fight Zuri Lawrence on Tuesday night in the main event of a boxing card taking place at the Hard Rock. That is not going to happen. I'm not even sure when the promotional company handling this event, Heavyweight Factory, found out about McCall's arrest. I advised them of the arrest in the afternoon. As of this evening, the show is still going forward. I assume a late replacement will be facing Lawrence.

Editor's Late Update - I just found out no replacement has been found and the Lawrence fight has been removed.
