Katsidis vs Guerrero, Maidana vs Cayo Terms Reached

Last week on BoxingScene.com, I posted a news report regarding a potential HBO doubleheader for March 27. I've heard the terms have been agreed upon in both fights. In the main event, IBF super featherweight champion Robert Guerrero would move up in weight to challenge the WBO's interim-lightweight champion Michael Katsidis. Because Juan Manuel Marquez [full WBO champion] is likely going to fight Amir Khan for the WBA title in May, the winner of Guerrero-Katsidis will likely get elevated to full champion status.

The co-feature will have the two highest ranked contenders under the WBA, interim-champion Marcos Maidana and unbeaten Victor Cayo, trading punches for a future shot at Khan. For the last few months, Cayo has been calling for a fight with Maidana. Well, he gets what he asked for.
