Russian heavyweight prospect Denis Boytsov (26-0, 21 KOs) will soon will have his first fight of 2010. On January 9, Denis meets American Kevin Montiy in the ring. The show takes place in Magdeburg, Germany.

At 34-years old, Montiy (17-6-1, 13 KOs) has not won a fight since 2007, although the first four years of his boxing career were spent without taking a loss. In two of his last three bouts he lost to Shane Cameron and Timur Ibragimov. Kevin will be one of the tallest opponents of Boytsov in recent years – his height is 6′ 5″. Boytsov himself is considerably smaller - 6′ 1″.
