Dzinziruk and Sidorenko Favor a Move To Top Rank

As has been reported before, WBO light middleweight champion Sergiy Dzinziruk and WBA world bantamweight ex-champion Wladimir Sidorenko decided to continue their boxing careers in the United States. Now the boxers are choosing the new promotional company out of the several variants. These include Banner Promotions, Don King’s company and Top Rank. Both Ukrainian boxers had negotiations with the representatives of these companies during their recent visit to the USA.

As Dzinziruk explained BoxingScene.com, he and Sidorenko still haven’t decided which promoter to choose but they are more in favor of moving to Top Rank.

“Top Rank at the moment is the most powerful and influential company, they have all the prominent champions, - told Sergiy. – "Now we both continue to receive proposals from various promoters. I think that in several weeks we’ll fly to the United States again and make the ultimate choice”.

If there are no problems with the new contract, Sergiy Dzinziruk plans to return in the ring at the end of January – or at the beginning of February.

‘The first bout will be tune-up. I’ll have to get adjusted, to feel the ring and the American fans. Also I want to have a full-fledged training camp in the USA, - says the boxer. – That’s why it most probably will be a voluntary title defense."
