At their 47th annual convention in South Korea, the World Boxing Council suspended Chris Arreola on Tuesday [from the rankings and fighting for the title] due to his foul language in the ring, when he expressed himself after he lost to Ukrainian champion Vitali Klitschko on September 26th, 2009 in Los Angeles when Vitali put his Heavyweight title on the line.

WBC President, Jose Sulaiman clearly expressed his being upset before the attendants during the second day of working sessions of the 47th Convention of the organization when he stated that there is no way a boxer within in the scope of the organization he leads can be let express himself in such a vulgar way without getting a penalty.

Others matters addressed during the Convention, this morning of November 3rd, 2009, were the following:

Two filmed messages were shown to the public in general, sent by current WBC Heavyweight champion, Vitali Klitschko, and by former champion Mike Tyson who talked about his best wishes for the working sessions of this Convention to be the best and also wishing luck to the attendants.

A wide explanation about what Suljos TV by Internet is was given, setting out the whole idea of the WBC leader, regarding the fact of broadcasting many fights for the fans of several parts the world for free or at least in a cheaper way than it is known. The presentation given on the way Suljos will work convinced everybody of the goodness of the project.

Ten seconds of respectful silence were let go by, all attendants standing up, due to the passing away of a very dear judge and referee from California, Lou Filippo, who died last Monday night in Los Angeles, California.
