Alexander Ustinov (17-0, 14 KOs), a heavyweight prospect of « K2 East Promotions» will not step into the ring of «Staples Center», Los Angeles, California on September 26th to face Cedric «The Bos» Boswell (30-1, 24 KOs). It was expected that Ustinov and Boswell would clash on the undercard of Klitschko-Arreola title fight for Vitali’s WBC heavyweight belt.
However, the fight was cancelled only few days before the date of the big fight card in Los Angeles – unfortunately Ustinov and his trainer Wladimir Zadiran had encountered problems in obtaining visas to travel to the USA.
As Alexander Krasyuk, General Manager of «K2 East Promotions» commented: «US Embassy in Ukraine did not take necessary steps to provide visas to Alexander and his trainer in due time».
The cancelled fight could have become the most serious test for Ustinov at this stage of his boxing career.
