As undefeated heavyweight prospect Chris Arreola prepares for the biggest fight of his life; Saturday's WBC title shot against Vitali Klitschko, he is ready to go all out in what should be a very exciting fight. For months Arreola has seen the critics take shots at his weight, his style and his determination. He doesn't care what the critics say. He plans to go in the ring at Staples Center and bring the belt back to the United States.
"I really don't care what people say. I've come this far with people thinking that I'm a fat slob, I'm overweight and I'm a terrible fighter. I'm come this far with them thinking that so f*ck em," Arreola told BoxingScene.com's Luis Sandoval.
Arreola has knocked out almost all of his opponents. So has Klitschko. Arreola doesn't see any possible way that his fight will end in a decision. He plans to test Vitali's stamina by starting at a high pace in the very first round.
"My style will win the fight. Me bringing the pressure and forcing him to fight at a pace that he's not used to is going to win the fight. There is no way that it's going to go twelve. We are both knockout fighters. It's not going to be the usual Vitali/Wladimir borefest with jab, jab, jab. It's going to be an exciting fight," Arreola said.
