Rigondeaux crushes Andrade

Two-time Olympic gold medal winner Guillermo Rigondeaux (3-0, 3 KOs) made quick work of 71-fight veteran Giovanni Andrade (60-12, 49 KOs) in a super bantamweight clash on Friday night at the Fontainebleau Resort in Miami Beach, Florida. Rigondeaux made Andrade take a knee in round two and finished him in round three with a bodyshot. Time was 2:53.

2004 Olympic Silver Medal winner Yudell Johnson (3-0, 1 KOs) outpointed Frankie Santos (17-8-4, 8 KOs) over eight rounds in a jr middleweight bout. Scores were 79-73, 79-73, 77-74.

2008 Olympic Gold Medal winner from the Dominican Republic Felix Diaz (2-0, 2 KOs) destroyed late sub Omar Brown (1-3) in a jr welterweight bout. Brown was down three times before the bout was halted at the 1:28.

2004 Olympic Bronze medal winner and World Amateur Champion Yordanis Despaigne (3-0, 2 KOs) overwhelmed Mickey Scaraborough (4-1) getting the stop 1:41 of round one in a cruiserweight bout.
