29 Aug 2009 12:36       hits 3702 Print version

In a clash for the vacant IBF light heavyweight title, unbeaten #1 rated Tavoris Cloud (20-0, 18 KOs) punished #2 rated former champ Clinton Woods (42-5-1, 24 KOs) for twelve rounds to claim the belt. The 27-year-old Cloud simply had too much power and too much energy for the more experienced 37-year-old Woods. Cloud rocked Woods in rounds eight and ten, dominating down the stretch. Scores were 116-112 on all cards.
