This frame grab from a video released by the Atlanta Police Department on Thursday, July 30, 2009 shows a suspect in the robbery of former boxing champion Vernon Forrest
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution report that Atlanta police have surveillance video of at least one suspect involved in the killing. The video is from cameras at the gas station where Forrest was robbed and a nearby apartment complex. Police told the paper that the images are good enough to catch the suspect. Police hope that once they catch the suspect caught on video, they will catch the other men involved.
“The images are good enough to get a mugshot of the robber,” Detective Lt. Keith Meadows said.
