Both fighters were down during the fight and at the end it was the Belarussian who was declared the winner. Scores were: 117-110, 118-108 and 118-109 for the reigning WBO Asia Pacific 126lb titlist who retained his belt in the process.

In an-all-out two-way war the reigning Russian light heavyweight champion Vasily Lepikhin (7-0, 4 KOs) scored a split decision over hard-chargin compatriot Roman Simakov (6-1-1, 4 KOs) and added the vacant BBU 175lb belt to his regalia. Simakov was down in the third. Scores were 75-76, 77-74 and 78-74 for a better-equipped Lepikhin.
