Top-rated cruiserweight Grigory Drozd (32-1, 24 KOs) became the first ever to stop the ultra durable American Darnell “Ding-a-Ling Man” Wilson (23-9-3, 20 KOs), scoring the eleventh-round stoppage in a foul-filled one-sided slugfest on Thursday night at the “Dynamo” Sports Arena in Moscow, Russia. Drozd dominated the whole fight with his precision yet hard punching, barely losing a single minute in any round and stalking his opponent around the ring. The fan-friendly action turned into an ugly foul match after the seventh round and both boxers were deducted some points by referee Victor Panin. With his right eye virtually shut and being horribly battered in later rounds, Wilson retired in his corner, though never down, after the tenth round. One of the best wins for WBO #1, WBA #2 and WBC/IBF #5 ranked Russian fighter, who also retained the WBO Asia Pacific and PABA belts in process.

WBO #6 featherweight Andrey Isaev (21-1, 7 KOs) scored a hard-fought unanimous decision against Thai Chaiyong Sithsaithong (17-5-3, 14 KOs) over twelve rounds of action. Both fighters were down during the fight and at the end it was the Belarussian who was declared the winner. Scores were: 117-110, 118-108 and 118-109 for the reigning WBO Asia Pacific 126lb titlist who retained his belt in the process.
—–
In an-all-out two-way war the reigning Russian light heavyweight champion Vasily Lepikhin (7-0, 4 KOs) scored a split decision over hard-chargin compatriot Roman Simakov (6-1-1, 4 KOs) and added the vacant BBU 175lb belt to his regalia. Simakov was down in the third. Scores were 75-76, 77-74 and 78-74 for a better-equipped Lepikhin.
—–
Heavyweight Magomed Abdusalamov (5-0, 5 KOs) added another first-round kayo to his resume with a quick demolition of Uzbek Sherzod Mamajanov (6-9, 2 KOs).
—–
Dmitry Ganiev (10-0-1, 4 KOs) added the interim version of the WBO Asia Pacific lightweight title to the already owned PABA belt with a spectacular third-round TKO of Thai Sapapetch Sor Sakaorat (14-6, 9 KOs). The Asian fighter was down twice in the third before the stoppage.
—–
Unbeaten featherweight Georgy Kevlishvili (11-0, 3 KOs) of Russia by way of Georgia got the better of rugged Thai banger Saichon Satornpitak (10-1, 5 KOs) over eight. Kevlishvili was down after a hook by the Thai in the fourth.
—–
Russian-based Tajik featherweight southpaw Sahib Usarov (12-0, 6 KOs) outpointed 41-year old Ukrainian journeyman Rakhim Mingaleev (27-60-1, 8 KOs) unanimously over six.
—–
Vyacheslav Glazkov (1-0) made his pro debut a successful one, outpointing no-hoper Ozcan Cetinkaya (15-6-1, 9 KOs) unanimously over four rounds.
