IBF #4 Canadian super bantamweight Steve Molitor (now 29-1, 11 KOs) has just barely won a split decision against Mexican Heriberto Ruiz (41-8-2, 23 KOs) over twelve rounds in an eliminator for the #2 ranking at on Friday night at Casino Rama in Rama, Ontario, Canada. Scores were 116-112 (twice) for Molitor and 112-116 for Ruiz. Molitor is a former IBF junior featherweight champion.
