Russell (3-0, 1 KO) was in complete control of the bout, even scoring a knockdown in the third round over Muro (6-14, 5 KO’s). All three judges scored the bout 40-35 for Russell. Russell was on the United States Team in the Beijing Olympics but did not fight.
