European featherweight titlist Oleg Yefimovich (16-1, 10 KOs), who is ranked #3 by the WBO, #12 by the WBC and WBA, and #15 by the IBF, retained his regalia for the second time with an easy twelve-round decision over Frenchman Osman Aktas (33-17-5, 6 KOs) with the scores: 120-108, 119-109 and 119-109. Yefimovich used his superior technique and boxing wisdom to control the slow and light-hitting Aktas from the distance with his jab and powerful left hooks and right hands but was unable to stop his durable foe. Fightnews had it 119-109 for the local hero.
