In an IBF super middleweight title elimination bout, Librado Andrade (28-2, 21 KOs) was too strong for #2 Vitali Tsypko (22-3, 12 KOs), winning a twelve round unanimous decision. Andrade dropped Tsypko with a right hand in round two, put him down again with an uppercut in the seventh, and mostly punished Tsypko who, although outgunned, showed great heart. Scores were 117-109, 117-109, 120-106. With the win, Andrade earned a rematch with IBF champion Lucien Bute.
