After the victory of IBF super middleweight champion Lucian Bute (22-0, 18 KOs) against Librado Andrade (27-2, 21 KOs) last Friday in Montreal, Canada, the search for a new mandatory challenger has begun. First in line is IBF #2 Vitali Tsypko (22-2, 12 KOs). But now the 32-year-old fighter is waiting for an opponent. IBF #3 Robert Stieglitz (32-2, 20 KOs) could be the man who will take this chance. "A fight against Robert Stieglitz would be great," explained Tsypko. "In fact I should have fought him in the beginning of this year, but an allergic maxillary sinusitis stopped me and destroyed my plans at that time. Because of that, Stieglitz fought against Andrade in March and lost. But after his victory against Fawaz Nasir in July he eyes the chance to go for the title again," explained the Ukrainian southpaw. It has been announced that Stieglitz will fight against unbeaten Lukas Wilaschek later this year. "A fight against [Stieglitz] would be good, because he is the next fighter in the rankings," Tsypko told Fightnews.com. "But if Stieglitz avoids me, I will take a bout against the next available contender. My goal is to win the title and for this I have to beat everyone."
