WBC heavyweight champion Samuel Peter weighed in at 253.5 lbs. for his defense against champion emeritus Vitali Klitschko, who scaled in at 247 lbs. They meet Saturday night in Berlin, Germany in a bout that can be seen on SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING at 9PM ET/PT

A deal was reached Thursday for the mandatory fight between WBC heavyweight champion Samuel Peter and champion emertius Vitali Klitschko shortly before a scheduled WBC purse bid in Mexico City. Former heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (35-2, 34KOs) was ordered by his doctor to stay away from training for at least six weeks.
