WBA junior welterweight champion Andreas Kotelnik has commented on why a proposed fight against Dmitriy Salita fell through. The fight was slated to be the co-feature to the Joe Calzaghe-Roy Jones Jr. HBO pay-per-view on November 8 at New York's Madison Square Garden. "As the world champion I will not fight for insignificant money," stated Kotelnik. "I have rejected that fight because because they didn't wish to pay what I wanted. I was ready to fight against Dmitriy Salita on my terms but they refused. Now I will define my next contender in the beginning of next year," said Kotelnik. Dmitriy Salita will face Willie Limond.
