On September 27th Maxim «The Tormentor» Bursak (15-0, 5 KOs), undefeated IBF Youth middleweight champion, will defend his belt at «Tiger Boxing» tournament to be held in Kyiv Sports Palace. This boxing event is organized by «K2 East Promotions», promotional company of Klitschko brothers. Bursak will face Esteban Waldemar Ponce, a fighter from Argentina, who is 25 years old (Max is 24).

In the co-event Avtandil Khurtsidze, a Ukrainian based Georgian and WBA Inter-Continental middleweight champ will defend his belt for the first time. Avtandil won the title by majority decision on July 5th in Odessa in the fight with Argentinean Javier Alberto Mamani. This time Khurtsidze will again fight an Argentinean – Valentin Antonio Ochoa (19-7-1, 8 KOs). Ochoa has been fighting for several years as super middleweight and fought mainly in Argentina. Nevertheless, he fought in other countries too – in Russia against Denis Inkin, and in Germany against Mario Veit, Lukas Wilaschek and Eduard Gutknecht.

On the undercard a clash between two undefeated heavyweights – Andrei Rudenko and Vladimir Chanturia from «K2 East Promotions» promise another interesting battle.

Valery Brazhnik, one of the best Ukrainian welterweights will fight for the second time after recovery of hand injury. Brazhnik will face Vadim Astapuk from Belarus. Astapuk in 2006 fought Sergey Fedchenko from «K2 East Promotions» and was defeated in a six-rounder by Sergey.

In another fight of the undercard Alec Murtazaliev, a Russian middleweight, will face a severe test – a fight with undefeated Ukrainian Alexander Chervyak.

Valentin Golovko will have his third fight in the professional ring – he’ll face Roman Grygoryan from Kyiv.

Official weigh-in of «Tiger Boxing» fighters will be held on September 26th.
