Rafal Jackiewicz Beats Jackson Bonsu, Capture EBU Title

Rafal "Braveheart" Jackiewicz (32-8-1, 18 KO) captured EBU welterweight belt defeating after 12 rounds reigning champion Jackson Osei Bonsu (28-2, 23 KO) on Sunday in Kielce (Poland).

The quicker and boxing wisely Pole won most of the rounds, flooring the champion in the 7th with a left hook. Bonsu had his moments in the 5th and especially in the 12th, when he turned southpaw and landed some heavy punches. However Jackiewicz managed to survive the Belgian's attacks and scored a unanimous decision 114-113, 117-110, 116-112.
