WBC lightweight champion David Diaz (34-1-1, 17 KOs) said today that he doesn't fear Manny Pacquiao, whom he faces on June 28th in Las Vegas and on pay-per-view. "The Lord gave me two hands as well, so we're going to be in the middle of the ring fighting each other," commented Diaz. The reigning WBC 135lb king will be trying to stop history from happening as Pacquiao (46-3-2, 34 KOs) is attempting to become the first Asian fighter to win sanctioned world titles in four different weight divisions. A former U.S. Olympian, Diaz did reveal some of his game plan for defeating the Filipino superstar. "He stops once in a while from going forward, and when he's resting that's when we can attack....but I don't concern myself with what other people do. I just have to take care of what I'm supposed to do."
