A deal was reached Thursday for the mandatory fight between WBC heavyweight champion Samuel Peter and champion emertius Vitali Klitschko shortly before a scheduled WBC purse bid in Mexico City. Representing Peter were Don King and Dino Duva, with Shelly Finkel and Tom Loefler representing Klitschko. The fight will likely be held this October in Europe. No amounts were mentioned. Had the fight gone to purse bid, Arena Box-Promotion's Ahmet Цner and OPI 2000's Salvatore Cherchi were prepared to bid.
